This Chilliwack client recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Armada and loved the factory navigation system and how it integrated with the vehicle. Unfortunately, the factory system did not offer Bluetooth connectivity. The client contacted us to see if we could help add this feature. After discussing the the upgrade with the client we also determined that adding USB charging ports in the vehicle would be a plus as well. With the scope of the project outlined, the installation began.
The device we used to integrate the Bluetooth to the factory radio is the iSimple InSeam, this device transmits the Bluetooth audio through the auxiliary port of the radio for the best sound quality. Now the client could talk handsfree or even stream audio via Bluetooth to the factory radio. Two USB charging ports were added to the rear of the vehicle, so the passengers could have access to charge their devices. In addition to a USB charging port up front, we also added a button that allows control of the phone voice controls and talking functions.
The client was thrilled the additions to their vehicle. Their audio convenience factor went from good to great! If you are interested in adding Bluetooth functionality to your factory radio give us a call or contact us here. We would love to discuss with you the options for your vehicle.
